Eli Geller Photographs
California & The Southwest
Light & atmosphere are the focus of
Geller's work, enhanced by his unique
developing process that brings textural
qualities and tonal characteristics that
have to be seen to be appreciated fully.
"These photographs are made by hand in the darkroom, using black and white film, and a printing technique known as Lith Printing. This process uses a special print developer, and makes it possible to create one of kind images with a unique texture and tone. I have chosen this printing method for my work, for it allows me to have great creative control over the print.
Each image is part of a limited edition, of 25 or less. These are Varied Editions, because the prints vary slightly from one to the next." - Eli Geller, November, 2015.
